4 x 105x135mm (Handcut - so sizes slightly differ)
Textured thick layered Florescent Orange (aqua-based linoprintig color by Essdee) on 350g Metapaper extra rough white. Limited to 10 Copies.
These mini format prints are printed with an extra thick layer of fluorescent color, which creates a special texture and a smudgy look. Similar to a Rorschachtest I want the viewer to find its own interpretation of what is displayed. There is no definite answer.
Linocut is a printmaking technique, in which a sheet of linoleum is used for a relief surface. A design is cut into the linoleum surface with a sharp knife, V-shaped chisel. The raised (uncarved) areas representing a reversal of the parts to show printed. The linoleum sheet is inked with a roller and then impressed onto paper. The actual printing is by hand and therefore every single print is unique and will slightly differ from the displayed print.
Please note: Due to the texture and thick color layer the prints come separated by light parchment sheets, which can be simply ripped off.
